Hilux - Call of the Wild.
NZ is a big sustainable hunting and fishing country. So we wrote an ode to the archetypal kiwi hunter / fisherman’s truck, the mighty Hilux, from the POV of the animals proudly meeting their fate. It was Hilux’s most successfull new model launch, sadly to be shortlived.
Kiwis loved its dark humour. South American Animal rights activists didn’t, and trolled Toyota global until eventually Toyota global put the hard word on the good folk at Toyota local to take it down. Bugger.
